Oil price, PetroTal, United Oil & Gas. And finally…
With the US shut for July 4th celebrations oil markets were open elsewhere and rallied on better economic news from the Far East as well as the imminent Norwegian oil workers strike which starts today and builds over the next few days. Today a cracking update has seen PetroTal force me to up my TP yet again. Also I write up a chat I recently had with Brian Larkin of United Oil & Gas.

Oil will be quiet for July 4th celebrations and after the Opec meeting etc last week. Today IOG have an upbeat statement about production and Jadestone have restored production quicker than expected.

A mixed day for oil, end of month and quarter, Opec meeting and rollover of August Brent. A delay for San Leon, not unusually, I look at Hunting from yesterday, Serica who are in sweet form and have announced an interim divvi, and Lamprell, what a mess...

Oil was weaker yesterday ahead of todays opec meeting expect no change in policy. I comment on Scirocco after the meeting and the VOG predicament. Also a raise from Orcadian and a cash alternative for SDX holders.
