Oil price

Oil rallied yesterday after losing a couple of dollars in the last 48 hours what with Covid worries and US funding. Also as with last week the EIA inventory stats were better than from the API with a modest draw in crude and bigger in gasoline and distillates.

The Baker Hughes rig count showed a rise of 2 units to 348 and oil added just the one to 264.

And finally…

Far too much sport to mention over the holiday but many exciting games in the Prem but for me the most exciting will be the jumps racing particularly the King George at Kempton on Boxing Day.

That just leaves me to thank you for reading the blog this year and to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a peaceful and healthy New Year.
