A cracking update as expected from President today with more to come I suspect. Range continue to work hard and progress in Trinidad continues, meanwhile Genel has extended deadline with the KRG for GLA discussions.

Oil price, Ophir, Anglo African And finally…

Oil rallied yesterday as possible movement on the US/Sino tariff war was mooted. Ophir has accepted a bid worth 55p, oh what could have been…And Anglo American brings in the Djeno at Tilapia but it will be a long haul for patient shareholders.

Oil price, VOG, Ophir, Jadestone, Angus And finally…

The oil price had a bad day yesterday but has perked up a bit this morning, inventory stats are now key. VOG are showing very high levels of production after the renewal of the ENEO contract and are not raising money ‘yet’. Ophir seems to have given up the ghost talking very seriously at 55p by the looks of it whilst Jadestone are oozing confidence about Montara. Over at Angus they are again changing the guard in the boardroom and at advisor level, who knows what’s next?

Oil fell yesterday primarily as worries about global GDP growth emerged from Dav-oh. IGas has announced the spudding of the long awaited Springs Road well and Block Energy has spudded its side-track in Georgia. Zenith is finally on the move with its kit to Azerbaijan and write up a meeting with Mike Buck, CEO of Petro Matad.

Flash blog today but Amerisur just keep on delivering and today is no exception. Cairn are strongly placed but have the spectre of the Indian international arbitration hanging over them, but they appear very confident on this front.
