Looking at my favourite stocks and how they have done since January. Featuring Faroe Petroleum (FPM.L), Sound Oil (SOU.L), Pantheon Resources (PANR.L), Rockhopper Exploration (RKH.L), Hurricane Energy (HUR.L), Caza Oil and Gas (CAZA.L), Genel Energy (GENL.L), Ithace Energy (IAE.L) and finally Parkmead Group (PMG.L)
Valuable info on all the above. Most appreciated
Thanks John very much
Malky – great blogs and articles. I have faith in you. Keeping fingers crossed on Genel – since this article it has bombed further. Is this the Iraq / ISIL fallout ? Wondering whether to dive back into BP post settlement or sit tight.
Hi Peter
Many thanks for your comments. Re Genel it is a long play but I am convinced that it is a massive store of value to be unlocked sometime, you will have to be patient! Re BP I am advising staying out as I have repeatedly said that I think that raising the dividend last year was irresponsible and they will regret it one day, they still need to sell a lot of assets to cover just that cost. I would buy Shell at the moment yielding 6.6% or more and has under-performed, the other one to look at is Chevron which might be worth a glance, all these guys have 2Q figs next week.
Kind regards
Malcy
